Embed a QR generator
Put a working QR code generator on your own site with a single iframe. Your visitors make and download codes without leaving your page, and without needing an account.
It is free and there is nothing to sign up for. The widget carries a small credit link back to us, which is the whole arrangement: you get a useful tool, we get the attribution.
Paste this into your page
<iframe
src="https://qr.div-systems.com/embed"
width="100%"
height="560"
style="border:0;max-width:480px"
loading="lazy"
title="QR code generator"
></iframe>What your visitors see
This is the real widget, running here exactly as it would on your page.
What your visitors get
Four common types — a link, plain text, an email address and a phone number — with a live preview and an SVG download. Deliberately not the full generator: an iframe that takes a second to load gets removed, so the widget stays small and sends anyone wanting logos, colours or other formats to the full tool.
Everything runs in the visitor browser. Once the iframe has loaded it makes no further request to us, so embedding it does not send your visitors data anywhere, and the codes it produces are generated on their own device.
Sizing it on your page
The widget is responsive and works from about 320 pixels wide. Give the iframe a height of around 560 pixels to fit the preview and the download button without an internal scrollbar.
It inherits nothing from your stylesheet, because an iframe is its own document — so it will not pick up your fonts, and equally it cannot break your layout or have its styles broken by yours.
The credit link
The widget shows a single line crediting QRBrand, linking back to the generator. That link is the reason the widget is free, so please leave it in place and do not add rel="nofollow" to the iframe or block it.
There is no tracking script, no cookie and no analytics beacon in the widget. The credit link is the only thing we get out of it, and it is visible to your visitors rather than hidden.
If you would rather not iframe it
Linking to the generator works perfectly well, and for many sites a clear link is better than an embed — it loads nothing extra and there is no layout to manage.
The embed earns its place where making a code is part of what your page is for: a guide to setting up guest WiFi, a tutorial on contact cards, a resource page for event organisers. In those cases the tool being right there is the difference between a useful page and one that sends people away.
Common questions
- Is the embeddable generator free?
- Yes, with no account and no limits. The widget carries a visible credit link back to us, and that is the whole arrangement — you get a working tool, we get the attribution.
- Does the widget track my visitors?
- No. There is no tracking script, no cookie and no analytics beacon. Once the iframe has loaded it makes no further request to us, and the codes are generated on the visitor own device.
- What size should the iframe be?
- It works from about 320 pixels wide and is responsive above that. Around 560 pixels of height fits the preview and the download button without an internal scrollbar.
- Can I remove the credit link?
- Please do not — it is the reason the widget is free. That also means not adding rel="nofollow" or otherwise blocking it. If a credit does not suit your page, linking to the generator instead is entirely welcome.
- Will the widget match my site styling?
- No, and that is deliberate. An iframe is its own document, so it will not inherit your fonts or colours — and equally it cannot break your layout or be broken by your stylesheet.
